The Prima Poker Network is a network of websites that market their own brands on the Prima Network using software developed by Microgaming who I believe are the principals of Prima Poker. The sites that use the Prima poker network vary from online sports books, casino sites and plain poker room skin operators. The ideal behind a poker network is to achieve a critical mass of players so that there is a selection of games. The downside to a poker network is that it is often confusing to the player were they are playing, and who is handling the money. Another problem is that you may go open an account on one site, that has great bonus offers, or some promotion, only to find you already have a player account on the network, and cannot open another. With a few exceptions, the poker networks are not doing great for these and other reasons. They are not doing bad, and there is a distinct advantage to playing on them when a lot of the players on are recreational players that came from sports book and online casino sites (IE they tend to be fish). Omaha eight or better has pot limit and limit variations. Limits range from 0.05/0.10 to 150/300. Omaha pot limit has blinds that range from 0.05/0.10 to 50/100

Both seven card stud and five card stud are offered in limit, pot limit, and no limit variations. Lacking is 8 or better offerings. Limit seven card stud has limit ranges of 0.50/1.00 to 50/100. Pot limit seven card stud has limits minimum bets that range from 0.25/0.50 to 3/6. No limit stud has one offering with minimum bets of 0.50/1.00. Limit five card stud has limits that range from 0.25/0.50 to 50/100. Pot limit and no limit five card stud have minimum bets that range from 0.25/0.50 to 50/100.

Head up games in all variations tend to have higher minimum and maximum limits.

Prima Poker tournaments are scheduled by the network, than branded by the websites. Prima Poker offers single table and multi table sit and goes with short handed and head up variations. Buys range from less then 1.00 to 1,000 on the singles tables and range between 2.00 and 30.00 on the multi table sit and goes.

Prima Poker regularly scheduled tournaments are offered with buys that range from 1.00+0.10 to 200.00+15.00. Many of the tournaments have guaranteed prize pools. Most tournaments are no limit holdem with a little stud and omaha. Promotional free rolls and some special tournaments are also offered.

The current deposit bonus is 101.00. This bonus may not be valid at all Prima Poker Network sites. Other promotions include a VIP club, and various jackpots, both bad beat and random.

Traffic is relatively slow in relation to the variety of games and tournaments offered. Lower limit games can always be found but as you get past 5/10 the games are very weak if there is a table to be found. Stud games are rare, Omaha is pretty much a low limit proposition and not even that outside of peak hours.

Sit and goes are slow to start. Large multi table tournaments are in all practicality small multi table tournaments.

There are no details on the security of the shuffle posted at the Prima network site or the Micro gaming site.
