PKR opened its doors for depositing player about a week before this review was written. They have been promoting strong and it seems to have paid off with a reasonable number of players online and participating in play money poker games, cash games and tournaments to make PKR viable to play at.

They offer the basic games of Holdem, Omaha and Omaha 8 or better. I believe that they plan for stud games in the future. Limits range from micro limits of 0.01/0.02 blinds to 5/10 in no limit Holdem and pot limit Holdem. Limit Holdem has limits between 0.02.0.04 and 10/20. Omaha in both high games and high lo games is offered in limit and pot limit variations. Limit games range from 0.05/0.10 to 3/6. Pot limit games have blinds that range from 0.02/0.04 to 2/4. They offer head up and short handed tables for all their games.

Tournaments at PKR just might be the thing to do right now. Over half of the schedule is free roll tournaments, and most of the regular tournaments currently have money added, making them an exceptionally good deal, Buys range from 1.00 +0.10 to 20.00+2.00. Single table sit and goes are available in Holdem, Omaha and Omaha 8 or better with head up, 6 handed and 10 handed tables. Buys range from 1.00 to 50.00.

PKR has an excellent deposit bonus of 50% up to a maximum of 250.00. Rakes and tournament fees are competitive. They have opened with a players points system where points can be used for free rolls, merchandise and to accessorize.

The game at PKR is what it is, a graphics intense game with a lot of bells and whistles, that layers a lot on top of a poker game. This does slow down play. You are shown your hole cards when they are dealt to you, and you then have to click a button to see them, which is reflected in your avatar looking at the hole cards. This can be really bad for some of us.

Currently games are limited to Omaha and Holdem.
